Read from January 29 to 31, 2013

Thanks to NetGalley and Disney Hyperion for the book:

Now to the story, since I never read any of the Gallagher Girls or Heist stories I had no preconceived ideas on these characters. It starts out with Hale (from Heist) and Macey (GG) at a swanky party when all of a sudden, robbers invade the place. Macey and Hale actually make a good couple in this story using their spy and theif skills to good use in order to stop the bandits, with outside help from other members Kat and Abby to stop the criminals, especially when this doesn't seem like a typical robbery. This definitely worked as a standalone book since I really didn't need to know the characters of both books to enjoy it. It also got me interested in both the Heist and GG series, so well done Ally Carter.

INTRODUCTION TO THOUGHTS ON BOOKS

I am starting a blog for the very first time, be gentle. I will be posting thoughts and reviews of books I have read or currently reading. Right now I am in the Young Adult Fiction kick, as when I was a kid we had nothing remotely close to the interesting stories and views of the YA lit out now.  The only YA lit that I had read was the queen dame Judy Blume, who I am sure still inspires YA authors writing today. Your comments will be helpful, especially on what authors to look into and what other genres are getting new and exciting books to review.  I will be brutally honest with my critiques, if I hate the book you will know it, doesn't mean I hate the author I just hate the book is not up to my standard of enjoyment.  Thanks and lets enjoy this journey into reading together.
